This event is for all clubs whether they are a Junior Club - Senior (Vets) Club or a Tennis Club with multi - age membership. The event give all players a chance to compete against other players from the region of a similar standard regardless of age. Every player is assured of some good tennis during the course of the two days of competition. All events are time slotted. Play singles - Play doubles - Play Mixed doubles or play all three. The great news it is free!!! Players encourage your club to enter a team.
Each club that nominates 6 players will go into the draw to win $1,000 worth of Brisbane International Tickets for the 2011 event.
Central Region
The RKF Engineering Services Central Region "Champion of Champions" will be held at a Rockhampton June 5/6 in 2010 . This event has been designed to cater for players from all affiliated clubs in the Central Region who have been selected to represent their clubs at this event. The Region is hopeful that this event will be held annually and may develop into a State Wide event in the years ahead.
The 2010 event will be held at Rockhampton and all clubs are encouraged to nominate as many players as possible ie up to 24 players across the three divisions. ITN 1-5(A Grade), ITN 6-7 (B Grade) & ITN 8-10 (C Grade). All clubs can nominate up to 4 singles players gents and ladies per grade and 2 pairs Gents & Ladies per grade and up to 4 Mixed pairs per grade.
Entry Fees are free of charge as this event is sponsored by the Central Regional Assembly as well as some local sponsors.
All winners of Singles, Doubles and Mixed events will go on the perpetual shields which are housed in the Rod Laver Hall Rockhampton. The Champion Club will go on the Bampton Shield. The defending Champion is Rockhampton Tennis Association Inc

The playing format will depend on numbers but it will all be a type of continuous play such as round robin or feed-in draws.
